Skeleton Coast Rally 2017: Harley’s “conquer” the coast

The recent Skeleton Coast Rally 2017 hosted by the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Namibia Chapter was a resounding success. More than the expected owners of Harley motorbikes took part during the four-day rally, which ended on Sunday. Hundreds of riders from all over the country as well as South Africa travelled to the coast for this auspicious event.
For Harley lover’s it was a yet unprecedented sight to see: close to 500 motorbikes registered for the event, making it one of the biggest Skeleton Coast rally’s to date. Highlights of the Rally included a thunder parade through Swakopmund on Friday morning towards Walvis Bay. The roaring engines of the bikes could be heard for most of the weekend. On Saturday, after an outride to Windpomp 14, “Harley games” were hosted at the SFC. This was followed by a farewell party at the Tiger Reef Beach Bar. On Sunday the first ever Namibian Ride in Biker Church Service was held at the SFC. Most riders departed back home on Sunday.
