Sparta United Rugby Club beat St Lou Academy from Rehoboth 32 – 7, booking a place in the final of the NRU First Division League.

Giovanni Isaaks, Charlton Brussel, Zwandre Viviers, Radahwaan Mouton and Chris Klazen scored the tries. Giovanni Isaaks successfully won with two conversions and Nathan Isaacs successfully earned a penalty kick for the victory for Club at the Sparta Recreational Club grounds.
Donovan Resandt scored the only try for the visitors and Sergio Dinniz was successful with the conversion.
Sparta Coach, Frans Beukes, said his team is now through to the finals of the first division league.
Beukes said, “This is great for the team. In the last year we have established ourselves. We also managed to reach the semi-finals, but we did not make it further. The second year we played great rugby, but Covid-19 put a stop to everything. It is our goal to reach the top and thus far we are still on course.”
According to Beukes, St Lou meant business from the onset, and they are really a tough team to play against.
Sparta United Rugby Club thanked St Lou for showing up and putting in a massive defensive effort. “You guys are really a tough team to take on. You showed in both games our clubs have faced one another.” Beukes said.
Sparta will play their maiden final on 23 October 2021 in Windhoek against the winner between Unam III and Ross Pina Rugby Club.
