Swakopmund Secondary School (SSS), the hosts of the first coastal FNB Classic Clash, stunned their rivals, Coastal High School with a spectacular 4 -0 held on 3 June at the Veneta Sports Fields in Swakopmund.

SSS dominated the match from the start by keeping the visiting side’s goalkeeper busy at the goal post. Coastal High School’s goalkeeper made a save in the early minutes of the game, denying Pinkie Gaingob a corner kick. SSS continued to put pressure which resulted in Pinkie scoring his first and opening goal of the match. Pinkie managed to score three more goals for SSS. Micheal van Wyk from SSS was crowned Classic Clash Hero. Pinkie Gaingob was the obvious choice and crowned as the FNB Classic Clash Man of the Match.
