Suicide by hanging

A 38-year-old man’s body was found by his friends hanging from the roof of his girlfriend’s informal house in Kuisebmond this weekend.

According to friends, Victor Akuumba was with his friends and girlfriend at a local bar on Thursday 4 April. He allegedly went for a smoke outside but instead disappeared to his girlfriend’s house. No suicide note was left, and no foul play is suspected.
