Swakopmund resident wins a brand new Nissan Np200 in PnP competition
Swakopmund resident, 30-year old Romano Routh, is one of seven lucky Namibians who each walked away with a brand-new Nissan NP200 bakkie in the WIN A RIDE campaign of Pick n Pay (PnP) Namibia – a subsidiary of the Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group. And to add even more greatness to his lucky moment, the bakkie’s load compartment was filled with groceries valued at N$3 000.
An overjoyed Routh explained he submitted three entries for the competition, and was very excited and overwhelmed when he received the call as one of the winners.
Pick n Pay Swakopmund’s Customer Care Clerk, Magreth Ganases explained the competition started on 29 May and was supposed to end on 17 July. However, the closing date for entries was extended to 26 July, to allow more people to participate. According to Ganases all 22 PnP outlets countrywide offered the competition.
Customers had to spend N$200 or more at any Pick n Pay store and then they had to SMS their name and receipt number to a special SMS number (76000), in order to qualify for the draw. The competition was open to all Namibians. Deloitte Namibia made sure the selection of the winners was fair and transparent. Routh took ownership of his Nissan NP200 on Tuesday morning at Pick n Pay Swakopmund.
