Swakopmund water disconnections for unpaid accounts to commence

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), A. Benjamin through the Swakopmund Council urges all Businesses, Government Institutions and Developers with high and/or long outstanding unpaid municipal accounts to pay their accounts, or/and make necessary down payments arrangements before 1 March 2022.

Residential and all other account holders are advised to settle their municipal accounts as soon as possible and if not possible, account holders should make the necessary arrangements before 1 April 2022, in order to avoid water disconnections.
Account-holders wanting to make payment arrangements are encouraged to contact the Municipal Finance Department at 064 410 4316/7/8 for information and to submit their proposed settlement arrangement in writing to the following email addresses: dkhunuxas@ swkmun.com.na and pnaris@swkmun. com.na. Kindly state your municipal account number as a reference.
Council will consider leniency based on specific and clear motivations supported where necessary with documentary evidence.
