The SWSL rounded of the first leg of the league at the Mondesa Stadium in Swakopmund.
 
The result of Wednesday’s game between Namib Daughters and Dream Team was 5-1 in favour of Namib Daughters. The last games for the season on Saturday, saw Kavetu FC beat African Queens 2-1 as the game between Super Ladies and United Nations was postponed to February 2018.
After the first round of the SWSL, Namib Daughters leading the log with 15 points after six games, Dream Team are in the second place with ten points from six games, African Queens are in the third spot with nine points from six games, Dragon City is in the fourth place after six games with eight points, fifth spot belongs to Kavetu FC with eight points after six games, Super Ladies are sixth with six points after five games and United Nations are bottom of the log with zero points after five games.
League chairperson Wilson Nguvauva said that the league will continue next year the players need to study for their exams and go on their Christmas holidays thereafter. The second round of the league is scheduled to continue on the weekend of 3 February 2018.
