Taxi hits cyclist

West Coast Safety initiative reported on social media, a cyclist sustained moderate injuries when he was struck by a taxi at Swakopmund on Tuesday. The cyclist was stabilised before being transported to the Swakopmund State Hospital.
The taxi driver was apparently arrested for reckless negligent driving. It could however, not be confirmed at the time of going to press.
