Thanks to hard work by TransNamib workers – Railway line open within hours

When a reporter of namib times witnessed over the weekend how teams of TransNamib committed themselves into repairing and re-opening the railway line, following the collision between a train and a truck on the Hannah Mupetami railway crossing in Walvis Bay, the following came to mind: “One cannot choose what life throws at you, but you can choose how you react to it”.
Workers decided not to venture too long in the misfortune of the railway accident, but wasted no time to repair the damaged railway line, as heavy lifting equipment cleared the scene of the accident from the wreck of the truck as well as placing one of the locomotives that derailed back onto the line.
