The Tierschutzverein Swakopmund (SPCA) hosted their 4th Golf Day Fundraiser after three previous very successful events at the Rössmund Golf Course, Swakopmund.

Twenty teams consisting of 3 players each enjoyed a fun-filled day, playing 18 holes on the course. Sponsors could either sponsor a team or a hole and many offered some surprises and fun games at their sponsored greens, lifting the spirits even higher.
Two golf carts did their rounds through-out the day, taking care of thirsty players with complimentary drinks and shots to also offer encouragement.
After a long day playing on a spectacular golf course each were rewarded with a prize thanks to the numerous sponsors.
Nearing the end of the prize giving dinner an auction was held as usual with amazing items such as a wheelbarrow filled with groceries sponsored by Woermann Brock Hardware & Building Supplies and the kindheartedness of our community once again prevailed as much needed funds for the four-legged friends were raised.
We would like to express our utmost gratitude to all our supporters. You made the day and assisted us once again in our mission of caring for the homeless pets in need.
