The Braaimaster Individual Stableford

Only a small field of 30 players turned out for the Braai-master Individual Stableford play on Saturday 27 February at the Walvis Bay Golf Course.

Winner and probably a new handicap was Pieter Heunis on 41 points with Koot Potgieter winning the count out from Pieter Fox on 38 points. Boel Grobelaar was actually second on 39 points but was not able to be at the prize giving.
A good few guys were in the mix after the first 9 but alas the proverbial wheels came off and they faded into the setting sun. There was no jackpot winners and three two clubs, Pieter Fox, David Peake and Tungeni Mupupa. Probably the high light of the day was a 5 pointer on number 6, stroke 1.
For obvious reasons no name can be published, and even then he could not win the jackpot – say no more. We thank Vicus Jooste from Braaimaster for the awesome prizes on the day, and look forward to next year.
The Artisan Bakery Wednesday competition seems to be drawing a few extra players and also good golf is being played. Last week it was Anton Welgemoed who won on 22 points and there were 6 players on 21 points and thus the count out were used to determine that Pieter Fox was second and Christo Muller was third.
