The Flamingo Run 2020

Walvis Bay Road Runners Club hosted their first ever Flamingo Run in Walvis Bay on Saturday 25 January.

The event was a huge success with 165 athletes participating in 5 km, 10 km and 21 km in over and under 40 years old divisions.

Leading long-distance athletes from Walvis Bay, Erich Goeieman was the winner of the half marathon in a time of 1:15:45 with Abner Vilho second in a time of 1:30:51 and David Shingenge in a time of 1:36:10.
