Three minors arrested for murder

Three minors are currently in holding on a charge of murder after they robbed and assaulted a man which led him to perish from his injuries.

The incident took place in the early hours of 13 November at the Kuisebmond Soccer Stadium. The three attacked and robbed the man of his shoes, cell phone and wallet. After the attack, the deceased had been bleeding from his nose and complained of pain on his stomach by the time he arrived home, but there were no visible wounds on his body. He was admitted to Walvis Bay State Hospital where he passed away on 15 November.
The suspects were arrested on 1 December when they were tracked through the deceased’s cellphone. The police are continuing the investigation. It is believed that all three suspects are students at Duinesig Secondary School.
