Three of four escapees re-arrested

Three of the four criminals who escaped from the police holding cells at Swakopmund last weekend are back behind bars. A police manhunt for them ended at the Oshihedi Sheengombe in Angola’s Ondjiva area.

The only escapee still on the loose is Stefanus Daniel (24), one of the murder accused of the elderly couple Strzelecki in Swakopmund in August 2017. Danië’s co-accused who escaped with him, Lazarus Fabian (24) is one of the three who were re-arrested.
Police officials yesterday confirmed the trio re-arrested are in custody at Oshikango and will be brought back to Swakopmund in the days to come.
