Three red cards in Premier League games

Last weekend saw a total of three red cards dished out at a MTC Premier League game at the Kuisebmund stadium in Walvis Bay. Blue Waters won both their games and thus collected six valuable league points. Eleven Arrows collected only three points as they won one and lost one game.

On Saturday, Blue Waters FC beat Tigers FC 1-0. Martin Shimaneni was the goal scorer for the home team. Mutelo Mutelo and Vialli van Staden scored for Eleven Arrows, who lost their game against Tura Magic from Windhoek 2-3.
Sunday saw a determined Blue Waters FC beat Tigers FC 6-2 with Martin Shimaneni and Marius Hashipala both scored hat-tricks. The goals for Tura Magic was scored by Keimuine and Romeo Kasume. The half time score was 4-0, in favour of Blue Waters.
In the second half, things got worse for the men from Tigers, as three of their players were red-carded. Defender Okeri Maekopo received his red card after conceding a penalty early in the second half, with Papi Kavezembi’s red card after he was arguing with the referee. The third red card was given to Tura Magic striker, Itamunua Keimuine, for abusive language.
On Sunday, Eleven Arrows beat Tigers 2-1 with Innocent Emvula and Pineas Willem scoring for Arrows and Roger Katjiteo for Tigers.
