The Event: The second Timeout Beach Volleyball Series 2016 event, the Tropizone Aqua Kalahari Open, hosted for the second time at Tivoli Southern Sky Guest Farm, will see the top Namibian beach volleyball athletes taking part, including the winners
of the first Timeout Series event in April; Mixed Experienced Champions Carmen Curschmann & Jan-Eric Sack and Mixed Social winners Bentje & Freidja Mehnert.
In 2015, Kalahari dune sand had been specially transported in to make three unique beach volleyball courts especially for this event. “It has taken the Schreiber family (Reinhold, Kirsten, Dennis & Damian) 3 months to prepare for this event, with tons of
sand being transported from the nearby Kalahari dunes” said James Verrinder, Tournament Director. “This location was specially picked to complement the beach volleyball image; sun, sand & the great outdoors, which Namibia has to offer in
spades” Mr Verrinder continued.

2. Word Press Namibia Winter Classic – 25th June – DTS Beach Arena, Windhoek
3. Interpack King & Queen – 17th September – DTS Beach Arena, Windhoek
4. Fabupharm Swakop Masters – 22nd & 23rd September – Mole Beach, Swakopmund
