Trusted Travel System implemented in Namibia

Eileen van der Schyff

Namibia implemented the Trusted Travel System (TTS) yesterday, 13 January at all airports and major border posts applicable for entry into Namibia. The system is mandatory.

Travelers must ensure they have the TTS Code should their country of destination require it. Travelers are also requested to complete the registration in advance to avoid delays at borders.
· Registering involves creating a personal account on the TTS.
· Checking which Laboratory is approved in the country where you are traveling from.
· Taking a PCR Test at the approved Trusted Travel Lab found in the step above.
· Receiving your text message from Panabios and then create your QR Code.
· Receive and download your QR Code.
