Twaloloka Housing Project belongs to Government

The Twaloloka Housing Project in Walvis Bay’s Kuisebmond suburb is funded by the Namibian Government, through the Office of the Prime Minister.

The municipality of Walvis Bay, through Council, is only facilitating the project on behalf of Government to ensure the project is properly completed.
Walvis Bay mayor, Cllr Trevino Forbes, explained Council’s position in this regard at the recent monthly Council meeting, held at the end of February. On the picture: an aerial view of Twaloloka where residents are housed in tents in lieu of proper housing delivery.
