Two employees arrested along with four more suspects

Two Tongaat Hulett Namibia employees and four more suspects were arrested on Thursday evening and charged with theft, after allegedly loading an extra 160 bags of 10kg brown sugar bags valued at N$17 600 without the owner’s consent.

The truck was travelling to deliver in the Zambezi region, when police found the suspects offloading the sugar about 5 km from Otavi towards Kombat, where the suspects were arrested. 
The two employees, an Assistant Distribution Supervisor (33) and a forklift driver (31) were arrested in Walvis Bay. NamPol continues the investigation. All six accused appeared before the Walvis Bay Magistrates court.
