Two employees of Distell arrested for theft

Two employees of Distell Namibia Ltd in Walvis Bay made a first appearance in the Walvis Bay magistrates court yesterday, following their arrest on Tuesday for theft at their employer valued at N$157 536-00.

The accused, Samson Uirab and Deon Savage, appeared before Magistrate Rhivermo Williams and were each granted bail of N$5 000. The matter has been postponed to 16 February.
