Two killed in vehicle towing accident

Two people were killed instantly in a road crash some 50km from Usakos on the way to Arandis on Sunday night. The accident occurred shortly before midnight.

 A vehicle was towed by another. The tow-rope snapped and the driver of the vehicle being towed lost control over it and it swerved into the oncoming lane. The vehicle slammed head-on into truck, killing instantly both occupants of the vehicle that broke loose. The Namibian Police in Erongo gave the names of the deceased as: Nangolo Simon Kondjashili (41) and Matias Tangi Iipumbu (42).A case of manslaughter is investigated.
