Vehicle slams into train at railway crossing

A man was seriously injured in Walvis Bay yesterday, after his vehicle slammed into train on the railway crossing in Hanna Mupetami Road at around 08:30.
He was driving a vehicle of the Namibia Standards Institution.
The train dragged the vehicle for several hundred meters before coming to a standstill. Railway crossing accidents at Walvis Bay is not uncommon.
