Walvis Bay business man faces multiple charges after he crashed into garage and then left the scene

A well-known businessman of Walvis Bay faces multiple criminal charges after he crashed his vehicle through the garage of a house in Meersig early on Wednesday morning and then fled the scene in his damaged vehicle. In the process he also knocked over a lamp post.
The man is expected to make a first court appearance in this regard in due course. The force of the crash also badly damaged a vehicle that was parked inside the garage at the time of the accident.
