Weekend accidents – four people evacuated to Windhoek hospitals

Drama unfolded at the remote Möwe Bay over the weekend when three people were seriously injured in a vehicle accident. One of the injured were in critical condition and that prompted the activation of a LifeLink’s rescue mission through its”flying doctor service”.

A report by LifeLink states a vehicle overturned in the Möwe Bay area and an air ambulance with medical staff was dispatched to the area to render assistance. Medical personnel were transported from the aircraft to the accident scene by employees of the Shipwreck Lodge which is near Möwe Bay……
