Welwitschias Cricket Team was defeated by Wanderers Cricket Club in the 50-over Cricket Namibia Premier League match at the Sparta cricket Oval in Walvis Bay on Saturday.

Wanderers scored 247 runs in 50 overs with the Welwitschias could only managed 222 runs to lose the game with 25 runs.
Wanderers won the toss and decided to bat first and set up 247 runs from 303 balls. The visitors heat four sixes and thirteen fours. The best bat man for the visitors was Nicholaas Scholtz with 66 from 82 balls be for he was bowled by Dian Neethling and cached by Etienne Beukes.
