Welwitschias stay on eight points

The CCD Tigers restricted the Welwitschias to 123 all out in a Cricket Premier League match at the Sparta Club in Walvis Bay to stay on eight points and fourth positions on the log.

Ya France star for CCD as he took three wickets to restrict the Welwitschias to 123 all out. The Welwitschia got off to a quick start with Lauritz Haccou leading the onslaught as he hit two sixes and three fours to accumulated 31 runs off 22 balls before being caught.
The Welwitschias crashed to 58 with the fall of the wickets of Lauritz Haccou, Scott Winborn, Dian Neethling, Shalako Groenewald and Ettienne Beukes. Reinhard van Zyl and Matthew de Gouveia rebuilt the Welwitschias innings with a 37-run partner-ship before Reynard van Zyl was dismissed for 21 then Wynand Viljoen was bowled for a duck and then De Gouveia out for 20 runs as the Welwitschia stumbled to 100 for eight wickets. Rico Mans and Mauritius Ngupita each scored eight runs before the whole team was out for 123 off 42,4 overs.
Welwitschias got off to a great start in CCD’s innings when Wynand Viljoen dismissed Joshuan Julies for a golden duck and Ettienne Beukes bowled Ramon Wilmot for two. With two wickets down for 16 runs CCD were took charge as Pikky Ya France and Percy Katyora put on a 42-run partnership, before Katyora was dismissed for 20, and then Ya France and Nicol Loftie Eaton took centre stage with a 63-run partnership before he was dismissed for 21. Ya France win the match for CCD as he scored 66 runs off 86 balls out on.
