West Coast Sharks Marching On!

The West Coast Sharks thrashed Erongo Rugby Academy 53-14 on Saturday at The SFC.
After a long awaited return, No 8 Henning Joubert opened the score board with a try after a pick up from the back of a scrum near the E.R.A goal line.
Minutes later an outstanding strike move from a scrum saw outside centre Wilbur Henckert dotting down behind the try line as well.
The men from E.R.A tested the West Coast Sharks defense with some brilliant attacking strategies but the men in blue and white once again stuck to their guns.
No 5 Lock Ettiene Noeth crossed the chalk as well in the first half, handing the West Coast Sharks a 21-0 lead. E.R.A finally found a way to penetrate the West Coast Sharks defense and went over for a try of their own making the score 21-7 at half time.
In the second half however, the West Coast Sharks came out firing all cylinders when No 8 Henning Joubert, exciting young winger Marcellino van Rooi, Outside Centre Wilbur Henckert and Flanker Mynhardt Louw all crossed the white line for a brace of tries each.
Erongo Rugby Academy managed to score a consolation try of their own as well in the second half. West Coast Sharks would like to thank all our loyal supporters as well as our sponsors Steckels Toyota and Cars & Guides for coming out and getting behind our boys at home!
