Whale stranded
Isaac Chikosi
This Humpback whale stranded near Mile 8 on Wednesday. Members of the public and marine interest groups attempted to return the whale to the sea, but it was too weak. At the time of going to press it could not yet be ascertained what this marine mammal’s fate was. The whale was close to the low water mark and the tide have helped it return to the sea. Humpback whales are found in all the world’s oceans and feeds on krill, plankton and small fish.
