Zambia International Sevens

The Namibian National Sevens team are in Zambia where they will compete in the 6th Zambia International Sevens tournament be played from today until tomorrow 7 September at The Arena Lusaka.

The team that departed Wednesday for Zambia are Aurelio Plato (Captain), Lloyd Jacobs, Carlton Stevens, Riaan De Klerk from Walvis Bay and Léan Stoop, Sunday Haitembu, Shareave Titus, Nikin Cloete, Nazume Swartz, Milaan van Wyk, Gilad Plaatjies and Johannes Mwenyo with Les Bougard and David Pliander the coaches, Colin Stevens the manager and Ivan Gaya as NRU Board member.
Some of the 12 Teams expected to feature at the 2019 tournament include but not limited are Namibia, Zambia Nkwazi, Zambia Lechwe, Zimbabwe Cheeters, Lesotho, Botswana, Malawi, Blue Bulls, JHB Bobbies, President’s Select, Spartans Rugby and Sherminators.
