Four people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover on the B2 road between Arandis and Usakos this evening.

The accident happened about 45 kilometres from Arandis towards Usakos.

According to Sean Naude, the first report came from Marshall Simon, who arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and Naude then dispatched an ambulance to the scene.

In the meantime, a Code Red Private Ambulance, which was travelling to Windhoek to transfer a patient, came across the scene, and stopped to assist. The crew remained on scene, together with the person who reported the accident, until an ambulance from Usakos arrived.

All four occupants of the vehicle were treated at the scene before being transported by ambulance to hospital with various injuries.

The cause of the rollover was not immediately known.
