All4TheBabies is calling on Namibians to turn every kilometre of the 2026 Nedbank Desert Dash into an opportunity to protect vulnerable newborns through a fundraising pledge campaign supporting its fight against baby dumping.

The campaign invites individuals and businesses to pledge N$1 per kilometre of the 401km endurance cycling event, scheduled for 11 and 12 December 2026.

The funds will support All4TheBabies’ work with the Ruach Elohim Foundation to protect vulnerable babies, promote adoption and raise awareness about safe alternatives available to mothers in crisis.

Since 2023, All4TheBabies has raised close to N$1 million for vulnerable babies across Namibia through fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, strategic partnerships and advocacy.

The organisation is now calling for renewed public support, highlighting the need to ensure that mothers facing difficult circumstances know where to turn for help before desperation leads to tragedy. Baby boxes established by foundations such as Ruach Elohim provide a safe, anonymous option for mothers who feel unable to care for their newborns, helping ensure that babies receive immediate care and protection. “Awareness saves lives. Partnerships save lives. Action saves lives,” the organisation said in its appeal.

All4TheBabies hopes the Desert Dash campaign will strengthen initiatives that protect newborns, create opportunities for adoption and give more children the chance to grow up in safe and caring environments.

Supporters can make pledges using the following banking details:

Account name: All4TheBabies

Bank: First National Bank

The organisation is encouraging Namibians to pledge, donate and share the campaign, stressing that every contribution can help support the protection of vulnerable babies.
