Hosted by the Namibia Volleyball Federation (NVF) as an official NVF National Tour event, the tournament is expected to attract the country’s top beach volleyball players, alongside emerging talent eager to make their mark on the national circuit.
The competition will feature men’s, women’s, Under-19 boys’ and Under-19 girls’ divisions, providing athletes across all age groups with the opportunity to compete for valuable national ranking points.
The Bank Windhoek Open has established itself as one of the highlights of Namibia’s beach volleyball calendar, combining high-level competition with the unique setting of Swakopmund’s coastline. Organisers are encouraging teams from across the country to register and take part in what promises to be an exciting weekend of fast-paced action on the sand.
The NVF has expressed its gratitude to Bank Windhoek for its continued investment in the development of beach volleyball in Namibia, noting that the sponsorship has helped expand the sport and create competitive opportunities for athletes nationwide.
Tournament organiser Conrad has invited players, supporters and the public to attend the event, which is expected to deliver entertaining matches and showcase the country’s growing depth of beach volleyball talent. The Bank Windhoek Open also serves as an important build-up to the CAVB Zone VI Beach Volleyball Tour, which Swakopmund will host from 6 to 8 August.
