A tragic motor vehicle accident on the B2 road between Arandis and Swakopmund has resulted in multiple fatalities, following a head-on collision on Wednesday evening.
According to Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula of the Erongo Regional Police, the incident occurred at approximately 21:00 near the mine turn-off outside Arandis.

Emergency services, including police, fire brigade personnel, and other first responders, attended the scene.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed, and next of kin are still to be notified.
Police have opened a case of culpable homicide, and investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
