RDI Kudus Reserve have marched into the NRU Reserve League final after completing a remarkable unbeaten 2026 campaign, finishing at the top of the standings before producing another commanding performance in the semi-finals at the Hage Geingob Stadium In Windhoek.

The reigning champions booked their place in the final on Saturday with a convincing 40–26 victory over FNB Wanderers, maintaining their perfect record and moving one step closer to defending their title.

Kudus produced a strong all-round performance, combining attacking firepower with disciplined defence to keep Wanderers under sustained pressure.

The semi-final triumph followed an emphatic 64–5 victory over Rehoboth, which saw the Walvis Bay side close out the regular season without a single defeat. That consistency has been a defining feature of Kudus’ campaign, with the Reserve side repeatedly demonstrating its ability to score heavily while maintaining defensive discipline.

Their success also highlights the depth within the Kudus rugby structure. The Reserve team has provided an important platform for players to develop, compete for positions and push towards higher levels within the club. The competition for places has been strengthened by the Reserve side’s performances throughout the season, giving Kudus a strong pool of players capable of stepping up when required.

Kudus will now face FNB UNAM in the Reserve League final after UNAM edged FNB Grootfontein 41–39 in the other semi-final. The final presents Kudus with the opportunity to cap an extraordinary campaign by successfully defending their NRU Reserve League championship.

For the Walvis Bay club, the numbers tell the story, unbeaten throughout the campaign, top of the standings, through to the final and now one victory away from completing a perfect title defence.

The final will determine whether Kudus can turn their remarkable unbeaten campaign into another Reserve League championship.
