RDI Kudus Rugby Club’s Reserve side produced a commanding display to overwhelm Montego United Rugby Club 61-7 in their NRU Reserve League encounter at the Jan Wilken Stadium in Walvis Bay, underlining the club’s impressive depth.

The Walvis Bay outfit dominated from the opening whistle, combining powerful forward play with slick handling to rack up an impressive tally of points while keeping United under constant pressure. Kudu’s defence was equally impressive, restricting their opponents to a single converted try as they controlled possession and territory for most of the contest.

The convincing victory reflects the strength of Kudu’s development structures, with the reserve team showcasing the quality and talent available within the club’s ranks.

Montego United Rugby Club battled throughout the match but struggled to match Kudu’s intensity and execution. Despite their efforts, they found few opportunities to build sustained attacking momentum against a well-drilled home side.

The emphatic 61-7 triumph gives Kudus further confidence as the NRU Reserve League season progresses, while United will look to regroup and respond positively in their upcoming fixtures.
