Blue Waters Football Club will officially begin preparations for the 2026/27 Namibia Premier Football League season on Monday, 10 August 2026, at its training base in Kuisebmond Walvis Bay.

The Beautiful Birds are returning to training after completing an improved 2025/26 campaign, finishing sixth, compared to ninth place the previous season.

Players were given time to rest following the demanding campaign and are now expected to return refreshed as the club begins preparations for the new season.

The initial squad will consist of contracted players and new prospects, with the coaching staff expected to assess the group while building fitness, teamwork and squad chemistry.

As part of its youth development plans, Blue Waters will reserve five places in the final squad for players under the age of 15. These youngsters will form the foundation of a planned youth academy to be introduced during the 2026/27 season.

The club is also finalising plans for several pre-season friendly matches and a comprehensive induction workshop before the new season gets underway.

Blue Waters thanked its loyal supporters and sponsors for their continued backing, expressing hope that their support will help drive the team to greater success in the upcoming campaign.
