FNB Dolphin Sport Club ended its 2026 Namibia Rugby Union (NRU) Premier League campaign on a winning note after defeating FNB Western Suburbs 26–22 in Windhoek.

The hard-fought four-point victory brought Dolphin’s season to a close, with the Walvis Bay club finishing sixth on the Premier League standings with 38 points.

Dolphin recorded six wins and 10 defeats during the campaign.

Western Suburbs, meanwhile, endured a difficult season, finishing without a victory and ending the campaign on zero points.

The final encounter was closely contested, with Dolphin managing to withstand a determined Western Suburbs challenge and hold on for the narrow victory.

The result provided a positive finish to Dolphin’s campaign after a demanding season in the country’s top rugby competition.

Dolphin also expressed its appreciation to its sponsors and supporters for their continued backing throughout the 2026 season, saying their contribution had been vital to the club’s campaign.
