With the new season approaching, the financial commitment provides renewed support for the 12 participating clubs as they prepare for another campaign of competition and development.

The investment also signals continued private-sector support for women’s sport, with FNB Namibia reaffirming its commitment to helping women’s football grow and reach more communities across the country. went beyond supporting matches and tournaments, describing the league as a platform for developing players and communities.

Deputy Sports Minister Dino Ballotti emphasised the importance of a strong domestic league in building a competitive national team. We shall always say when the league is strong, so is the national team,” Ballotti said.

FNB Namibia Sponsorship and Social Impact manager Revonia Andreas highlighted the importance of investing in women’s football as part of broader efforts to empower women and strengthen communities through sport. “Today, as we launch this season, the conviction is stronger than ever.

The FNB Women’s Super League has become a valuable platform for players to sharpen their skills and compete at a high level,” Andreas said. “We understand that investing in sport is not simply about supporting matches and tournaments.
