FNB Wanderers were forced to dig deep before overcoming a spirited FNB Dolphin side 26–15 (7-3 halftime) in a fiercely contested NRU Premier rugby encounter played in Swakopmund over the weekend.

Despite entering the match as favourites, Wanderers faced a determined Dolphin outfit that matched them physically and refused to give their visitors an easy afternoon. The hosts remained within striking distance for much of the contest, but Wanderers’ experience and composure in key moments ultimately proved decisive.

The visitors capitalised on their scoring opportunities and controlled the crucial phases of the match, while Dolphin showed resilience with a disciplined defensive effort and a willingness to attack whenever chances presented themselves.
