A successful charity golf day organised by Promiseland, has raised N$73 469 to support programmes that improve the lives of children and families, thanks to the generosity of sponsors, players, donors and volunteers.

Promiseland described the event as a resounding success, with the funds enabling the organisation to continue its work of creating brighter futures for the communities it serves.

Promiseland give special recognition to the leading sponsors, Manica Group Namibia (Pty) Ltd and Rennies Transport & Material Handling Division, whose support played a key role in making the event possible.

A wide range of businesses also contributed to the success of the fundraiser. These included 3C Metal, Bachmus, Coastal Hire, Flamingo Villas, Freddies Fish Processors, Gondwana, Health Hub, Hopfas, Novanam, Salt Technologies, Seawork Fish Processors, Simonis Storm, Varta and Dr Weder Kauta & Hoveka Inc.

Promiseland also thanked every golf team that entered the competition, as well as the many individuals who attended the event, donated prizes and auction items, sponsored holes, volunteered their time and supported the initiative throughout the day.

“Every contribution, whether big or small, helped make a meaningful difference,” the organisers said. “This was about much more than a game of golf. It was about coming together to support children and families in need.”

Special recognition was also given to the volunteers and organising team whose behind-the-scenes efforts ensured the smooth running of the event. With more than N$73 000 raised. Promiseland said the success of the golf day once again demonstrated the power of community partnerships in making a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families.
