Kallie Grunschloss has been elected Chairperson of the Walvis Bay Port Users Association (WBPUA) following the successful conclusion of the Association’s 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Grunschloss, who represents Access World Namibia, will lead the Association during the 2026–2027 term, succeeding at a time when the Port of Walvis Bay continues to strengthen its role as a key regional logistics hub.

The WBPUA remains a strategic stakeholder in Namibia’s transport and logistics sector, working closely with industry partners to promote the Port of Walvis Bay as a preferred gateway for regional and international trade.

Through advocacy, collaboration and engagement with both the public and private sectors, the Association supports initiatives aimed at improving trade facilitation, enhancing supply chain efficiency and strengthening the competitiveness of Namibia’s logistics industry.

Joining Grunschloss on the newly elected committee are Philip Coetzee of Steinweg Bridge Logistics as Vice Chairperson and Kristian Woker of Manica Group Namibia as Treasurer. The remaining committee members are Duncan Dukhie (BHL-Bulk Haulage Logistics), Anchen Jankowitz (Steinweg Bridge Logistics), Martin Louw (MACS Shipping Namibia), Leonard Shidute (Portside Marine Operations) and Jason Fourie (Interlogix Namibia).

The newly elected committee is expected to continue strengthening cooperation among port users while supporting initiatives that enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the Port of Walvis Bay. As Namibia continues to position itself as a regional trade and logistics gateway, the WBPUA will play an important role in fostering collaboration between industry stakeholders and promoting sustainable growth within the country’s transport and logistics sector.
