FNB Kudus finished third in the 2026 Namibia Rugby Union Premier Division after completing their regular-season campaign with a hard-fought 23–20 victory over FNB Rehoboth on Saturday.
The Walvis Bay side was pushed all the way in a closely contested encounter, with just three points separating the teams at the final whistle. Kudus showed composure during the closing stages, protecting their narrow advantage to secure an important victory and end the regular season on a positive note. The result capped a strong campaign for the Walvis Bay outfit, which recorded 12 victories and four defeats from 16 matches, collecting 71 log points to finish third.
Kudus also produced an impressive attacking record during the campaign, scoring 682 points while conceding 351, giving them a positive points difference of 331.
The victory over Rehoboth comes after Kudus had already secured their place in the Premier Division semi-finals. Their previous outing saw them go down 22–12 to league leaders FNB Wanderers at Jan Wilken Stadium. Despite that setback, Kudus bounced back against Rehoboth to enter the playoff phase with renewed confidence.
With the regular season now complete, attention turns to the semi-finals, where Kudus will look to build on their consistent performances throughout the 2026 campaign as they chase a place in the Premier Division final.
