Narraville Karate Dojo, part of Goju Kai Namibia, produced an impressive medal haul at the 2026 Namibia Karate Federation (NKF) Junior and Senior National Championships, returning home with two gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
The championships, held on 19 September 2026, brought together karate athletes from different styles across Namibia to compete for national honours.
Narraville Dojo was represented by six athletes, with every competitor earning a medal in their respective category. Joshua Scheffers claimed gold in the U12 Boys Kumite 10/11 – 35kg division, while Garth Gaoseb also secured gold in the Cadet Boys Kumite 14/15 – 63kg category.
Jaymor Jephtha added a silver medal in the U12 Boys Kata 10/11 division, while Aisha Knowles earned silver in the Cadet Girls Kumite 14/15 – 61kg category. The dojo’s bronze medals came through Keagen Cloete in the Cadet Boys Kumite 14/15 – 63kg division and Kyle Knowles in the Cadet Boys Kumite 14/15 – 52kg category.
The results underline a strong showing by the Narraville-based dojo at one of Namibia’s major karate competitions, with all six athletes returning from the national championships with medals.
