Team Namibia proudly made its entrance into the Hydro Hall at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) during the colourful opening ceremony of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, marking the official start of the multi-sport spectacle.

Led by the Namibian flag, the country’s athletes marched into the arena before thousands of spectators, proudly showcasing the nation’s colours on the international stage. The opening ceremony brought together athletes from across the Commonwealth in a celebration of sport, culture and unity, setting the tone for the competition ahead.

With the Games officially underway, Team Namibia now turns its focus to competition, carrying the hopes of the nation as its athletes strive for memorable performances in Glasgow.
