Narraville Primary School’s rugby programme has received a timely boost following a generous donation of training equipment from local residents Wilfred Muller and Odele Muller.

The Walvis Bay family donated tackle bags and tackle shields to the school’s rugby teams, providing players and coaches with essential equipment to enhance training sessions and improve player development. The donation is expected to strengthen the school’s rugby programme by allowing players to practise tackling techniques more safely and effectively while building confidence and improving their overall skills.

School officials and coaches expressed their appreciation for the Mullers’ contribution, describing it as a valuable investment in the development of young rugby players. They noted that quality training equipment plays an important role in preparing learners for competitive matches while promoting discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship.

The gesture also highlights the importance of community involvement in school sport, with local businesses and families continuing to support the growth of youth rugby in Walvis Bay. By investing in the next generation of players, Wilfred and Odele Muller have not only equipped the teams with much-needed resources but have also demonstrated the positive impact community support can have on developing young sporting talent.
