Drikus Coetzee and Anri Greeff were crowned the 2026 Namibian Gravel Champions after producing outstanding performances at the Na/a’an ku sê Gravel Challenge and Namibian National Championships on Saturday.

The prestigious event, regarded as one of the toughest races on Namibia’s cycling calendar, tested competitors over demanding gravel routes of up to 145 kilometres for the elite categories. Riders faced challenging terrain, endurance-testing climbs and rugged gravel roads in a battle for the coveted national titles. Coetzee and Greeff rose to the occasion with impressive rides to claim the men’s and women’s championship honours respectively.

The Na/a’an ku sê Gravel Challenge once again attracted some of the country’s top cyclists, with participants competing not only for race victories but also the honour of wearing the national champion’s jersey for the coming year. The event highlighted the continued growth of gravel cycling in Namibia, with riders showcasing endurance, technical skill and determination across one of the country’s most demanding off-road courses.
