The Vipers Rugby Club produced an outstanding all-round performance to cruise to a convincing 41-14 victory over Sparta Rugby Club in an entertaining league encounter.

Backed by a strong team effort, the Vipers controlled the match from the opening whistle, combining physical forward play with clinical finishing to outscore their opponents by five tries to two.

The home side set the tempo early, applying relentless pressure that kept Sparta pinned deep inside their own half. Their disciplined defence limited Sparta’s scoring opportunities, while the backs capitalised on quick ball movement to stretch the visitors’ defence.

Although Sparta fought back with two tries of their own, they were unable to match the Vipers intensity and accuracy throughout the contest.
