In his acceptance speech, Doeseb expressed gratitude for the confidence placed in him and emphasised the board’s commitment to strong governance and accountability. He noted that the board aims to provide strategic, policy-driven leadership while fostering a culture of transparency, discipline and results. “We are committed to building a cohesive and high-performing team that delivers on its mandate and ensures quality and affordable service to our customers,” he said.
