The Walvis Bay Urban Constituency held a productive Constituency Development Committee (CDC) meeting earlier this week, bringing together its newly appointed members to discuss development matters affecting the constituency.
The meeting provided an important platform for members to familiarise themselves with their roles and responsibilities, identify key constituency priorities and establish a shared understanding of the CDC’s mandate.
The engagement marks an important beginning for the newly appointed members as they take on their responsibility of contributing to development planning and promoting community-driven initiatives within the constituency.
The CDC is expected to play an important role in strengthening community participation and ensuring that local development priorities are effectively identified and addressed.
